Buffalo Worms Dryer

Buffalo worms rich in n nutrients due to high protein percentage and low fat content. It’s used be a great food for amphibian, bird, tropic fish and lizard. Recently, it’s also popular as the edible food to feed the human.

Apart from freeze-dried buffalo worm, we are also able to use microwave oven to dry buffalo worms. Comparing to freeze drying, microwave running cost is much lower with less electricity consumption. Moreover, microwave machine can immediately turn ON/Off to dry one or many batches at one time.

Advantages of Microwave Drying Machine

1.Our Microwave machine only takes around 12 minutes~14 minutes for a batch or running which save much time.

2.Microwave can puff the buffalo worms so larva are maintained original shape and color because microwave penetrating feature would dry inside of larvae which form a pressure to puff the larvae.

3. During the drying process, microwave can also sterilize worms to meet with food hygiene standard as well as achieve a longer storing time.

4. Microwave can dry worms to a lower moisture content which is around 3%~5% which has a crispy taste and texture. We could add a bit microwave-dried larvae on the burger enrich the flavor.
