Most insect meals were deficient in calcium and the amino acids methionine and lysine, but those can be added cheaply” by Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Process Food Wastage

When we talk about food wastage, we must mention Hermetia illucens L.(Black Solider Fly Larvae). We could leftover food, grains, discarded by distilleries, over even manure to feed BSF larvae. The BSF larvae quickly eat the wastage, and after microwave drying, the larvae meal can be a cheaper meal to replace fishmeal or soymeal, the insect expelling frass would be a good fertilizer for the plant.
