Microwave heating equipment is characterized by fast heating speed, less heat loss and convenient operation, which can not only shorten the process time, improve productivity, reduce production cost, but also improve product quality. Compared with traditional heating methods, microwave heating has the following characteristics:
1. Uniform microwave heating and fast heating speed
In general, the heating method heats the surrounding environment by means of heat radiation or convection through hot air, so that the surface of the object is heated first, then the interior of the object is heated by heat conduction. This method is inefficient and takes a long time to heat up.
The biggest characteristic of microwave heating is that the object is heated internally and externally at the same time, the heating is even, which will not cause the phenomenon of “outside burnt, and inside is not enough”, which is conducive to improving the product quality. Meanwhile, "simultaneous heating in the inner and outer " has greatly shortened the heating time and improve high heating efficiency, which is conducive to improving the product yield. The inertia of microwave heating is very small, which can realize the rapid control of temperature rise and fall, and is conducive to the automatic control of continuous production.
2. Selective heating
The heat generated by microwave heating is closely related to the loss of the heated object. The dielectric constant of various media is within the range of 0.0001 to 0.5, so the ability of various objects to absorb microwave varies greatly. In general, a medium with a large dielectric constant is easy to be heated by microwave, while a medium with a small dielectric constant is difficult to be heated by microwave. This is the characteristic of selective heating of microwave on objects.
3. Timely control and sensitive response
Conventional heating methods, such as steam heating, electric heating and infrared heating, require a certain time to reach a certain temperature. In case of failure or stop heating, the temperature will drop for a longer time. However, microwave heating can rapidly adjust the microwave power to the required value within a few seconds, heating to the appropriate temperature, facilitating automatic and continuous production.
4. Strong penetration ability of microwave heating
Far infrared heating has a higher frequency than microwave heating, which is supposed to be more efficient, but it's not. There's a notion of penetration. Although far infrared heating has many advantages and is widely used, far infrared heating is far inferior to microwave in terms of its penetrating ability to objects. What is penetration? Penetration is the ability of electromagnetic waves to penetrate into the medium. When electromagnetic waves enter the medium from the surface and travel through so energy is constantly absorbed and converted into heat energy.
The penetration depth and wavelength of the electromagnetic wave are the same order of magnitude. However, the wavelength of far-infrared heating is very short, and the penetration ability is poor when heating. Under the irradiation of far-infrared, only a thin layer of the object gets hot, and the heat is mainly transferred to the interior. In this way, not only the heating time is long, but also the heating is easily uneven. By comparison, the penetrating power of microwave heating is much stronger than that of far infrared heating.
5. Clean and pollution-free
Generally, conventional heating equipment is relatively large and covers a large area. The ambient temperature is also relatively high. Operating workers have poor working conditions and great strength. While microwave heating covers a small area and avoids the high temperature of the environment, the working conditions of workers have been greatly improved.
We could customize a different of microwave heating machine to process rice meal and other material.
